. In these difficult times, we still try to find solace in ways that touch our hearts and speed us away from daily life. My six book Baby Experts series will begin this year. These romances will extend over two years and capture the love stories of six women whose friendship supports them through their career and personal lives. There sits an old Victorian house in Sagebrush, Texas where the first three friends and baby experts share hopes and dreams. In 2009 you will be able to read Tessa McGuire's, Emily Diaz's and Francesca Talbot's love stories. Tessa's story, Lullaby For Two, will be released in March. A baby tore high school sweethearts Tessa McGuire and Vince Rossi apart, along with a little help from her dad. But a baby and Tessa's vocation as a pediatrician reunite them. Can old heartache transform into forgiveness, trust and everlasting love? Emily's story The Midwife's Glass Slipper will hit bookshelves in May. Emily Diaz asks herself if her boss knew her secret, would he fire her? Yet if obstetrician Jared Madison realizes she's fallen in love with him and his twin daughters will he lock her out of his life or let her in? Francesca's romance will be released in September. As a neonatologist who focuses on her little patients, Francesca Talbot never expected to find herself pregnant. But saddle maker and rancher Grady Fitzgerald was different than any man she'd ever met. Could she shed her past to be vulnerable enough to fall in love? In Baby By Surprise I will introduce the heroine–Gina Rigoletti–who will move into the Victorian house with Francesca. After Francesca finds happily-every-after with Grady, Gina invites Raina and Lily to live with her. These women who also become close friends bond and form friendships with Tessa, Emily and Francesca so readers can catch up with what is happening in their lives. The town of Sagebrush is home base for the books but they also take place in Lubbock where The Family Tree Health Center has taken root. The Baby Experts' offices are located there. This six book series is challenging to weave together, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. Besides this series of books, I was honored to be included in Silhouette's Diamond Continuity Series–The Foleys and The McCords. I have written Book 2 in that series–The Texas Bodyguard's Proposal. It will be available from Silhouette Special Edition at the end of June. The Texas Bodyguard's Proposal wrote like the Texas wind and I hope readers are swept away by this romance between Gabriella McCord and Rafe Balthazar. The year 2009 will be a busy one.
